Located at a walking distance from Gurusthan, Lendi Baug-Garden- is one of the chief attractions in Shirdi. It is said that this garden was formed and maintained by Baba himself. The name of this garden was from a drain which was located there previously. There is a Neem tree in this garden under which Sai Baba used to take rest. There is an also a 2 feet deep pit under this tree which was dug by Baba. He used to keep a Deep (earthen lamp) in that pit which burnt constantly. In that memory, a Deepgriha named Nanda Deep has been built by marble stone. That earthen lamp constantly burns and is kept safe in a glass box till today. The Deepgriha is surrounded by a Peepal tree and a Neem tree from both sides. There is also an Audumbar tree in lendi baug-garden- below with the temple of Datta is situated. There is a statue of Datta built by marble which was established in 1976. There is a Samadhi of Baba’s horse, Shyamsundar behind the temple. There is also a well which was dug by Baba with the help of his devotees. The Samadhi places of some of the famous devotees of Sai Baba such as Tatya Kote Patil, Bhau Maharaj Kumbhar, Nanavalli and Abdul Baba are situated on the entrance of the garden.
